| Bio: | AMANDA'S LJ (the cliff-notes version): 23-year-old graduate of Ursinus College, working a menial job to make enough money so that I can quit and embark on another menial job that I actually want. My interests range from comic books to musing about food. (In this case, "range from" means the same thing as, "are limited to." Which neccessitates that "to" mean the same thing as, "and." So nitpicking over grammar and word choice is on the list, as well, thus negating these parentheses' contents entirely.) Every now and then I have exciting experiences that I vow to write about, then never do. The life I make up for myself is a lot more dramatic than my real one. Tragically, it isn't that much more exciting. Current Major Driving Forces in my life: Mainstream DC comic books, particularly those which are team-based and, preferably, written by Geoff Jones - the former stipulation applies regardless, the latter does not. Getting over my patently irrational fear of gaining fifty pounds overnight because I ate an extra apple before bed (or, you know, a slice of tiramisu). Getting around to regaining my ability to string a sentence together in Japanese before I find myself floundering around, stupefied, in the middle of the country with nothing to say and no way to say it. Figuring out how to Love Myself and Others over the course of half an hour, only for the writers to forget that anything has changed by next week's episode. Not necessarily in that order. | |
